ABOUT
Kathy Lummis
Physiotherapist
Kathy has a deep interest in the unique challenges relating to Women’s Health and has undertaken further training in this area, allowing her to assist with pelvic floor and continence issues.
She has worked in tertiary and rural hospitals, rural private practice and as a contractor for the ADF. She is passionate about combining her manual therapy skills with exercise-based rehabilitation in order to help her clients overcome injuries or surgery, return to work and sport, and improve their quality of life.
Kathy aims to empower her clients to be active participants in managing their health, working with you to optimise your wellness journey.
Kathy graduated as a physiotherapist in 2007 and has worked with clients of all ages to manage a wide variety of conditions. While she enjoys treating all manner of conditions, her passion lies firmly with women’s health and sports injury management.
After leaving high school, Kathy joined the Royal Australian Air Force before following her heart to pursue a career in health. While Kathy now practices as a physiotherapist, she also holds qualifications as a Sport Scientist and Gut Health Practitioner, and she is currently studying Aromatherapy Consulting.
Family and personal health challenges led Kathy to embrace a low-tox lifestyle and be creative in managing the mechanisms to achieve this while being a busy working mum. This personal journey inspired her to integrate holistic healthcare principles and practices into the management of her clients.
